New Sewing Seed Discipleship Class

In September we started the Sewing Seeds Discipleship ministry with six new young women in a new location. Patricia has so graciously offered a room that she rents on the main road for us to meet.  She is the founder of a Christian ministry called Women of the Proverbs.  We are like-minded in ministry and have agreed to partner together to impart knowledge and skills to the women in rural western Uganda.  But more importantly we want to use these opportunities to disciple the women.  You can learn more about the Women of the Proverbs Ministry at www.womenoftheproverbs.blogspot.com.

Susan and Marggie have taken a step of faith and have become part of the Sewing Seeds Ministry.  They are the ones leading, teaching and discipling the girls.  I am very excited to see what the Lord is doing and look forward to what the Lord is going to do in each of them as they choose to faithfully serve Him and invest in the lives of these young girls.  Please pray for Marggie and Susan as they are trying to build their own businesses.  I am working with them to create and put into action a marketing plan for their businesses as the peak season for selling school sweaters is drawing near.  Please pray for us as we desire to become women of excellence, well pleasing to our Lord and Savior in every area of our lives.

I have taken more of a support role in the ministry, getting things organized and established so that upon my relocation, they will be able to carry on the ministry. Although I am moving away, I will continue to support and oversee the ministry.  Please pray for unity and for all of us to be good stewards of what the Lord has entrusted to us. What a privilege we have to serve our Lord and Savior!  May the power of the Holy Spirit abundantly overflow in each of our lives.
